Barnes Fine Jewelers is family owned and operated by Paul and Susan Barnes since they opened in 1995.  Paul has been a jeweler for over 30 years and is a graduate of Texas Institute of Jewelry Technology as well as the Gemological Institute of America.  He is also an Accredited Member of the International Society of Appraisers.  His titles are Graduate Jeweler, Graduate Gemologist, and Certified Appraiser of Personal Property.

With two other Gemological Institute of America (GIA) graduate jewelers on staff as well as our GIA certified sales staff, we strive for the very best jewelry buying experience possible.

We specialize in unique and one of a kind gold and platinum jewelry using diamonds and/or many different kinds of gemstones.  Working with their highly qualified staff, clients can help design a brand new jewelry item or create re-designed heirlooms for special, outdated pieces.  Also available are professional jewelry appraisals and jewelry repairs on gold and platinum items as well as pearl stringing.  All work is done on the premises by our professional jewelers.

We travel to Antwerp, Belgium, the Diamond Cutting Capital of the world and have been to Idar-Oberstein, Germany to select the finest diamonds and color gemstones direct from the cutters.

In Antwerp, the selection of diamonds there is truly astounding.  We are able to inspect and select among thousands of stones of any size, color, shape, or quality level and negotiate tremendous savings.
